Bella's Story

After we finished reading your beautiful book, Chloe said to me, ’Oh, Mummy, I understand so much more now about myself and confidence and finding my heart.'

- mother of Chloe, aged 8, Sydney, Australia.

This story ‘rings true.’

- Vilma Bell, former President of the

English Teachers' Association of NSW, Australia

Your beautiful and wondrous 'Bella' has given me more joy, hope, inspiration, education, warmth, sheer and utter pleasure than I have ever found in the pages of any book!

- Sonia Richardson McNamara,

author of For Our Tomorrows, Firefly, NSW, Australia.

'Bella's story' is an impressive creation, suitable for children as young as seven, but equally enjoyable for adults.

- Sarah Hudson in The Weekly Times,
Melbourne, Australia.

'Bella’s Story’ was a transforming experience, not only for the story’s heroine, but for me as well.

- Tobias Leeflang, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

In this beautiful chapter picture book, suitable for primary school children and older, Bella Rosa tells her story of growing to wisdom as the seasons unfold in an Australian garden. The roses, plants, birds and creatures of the garden provide a rich medley of characters.

We'll let Bella tell you about them herself...

Hi, I’m Bella Rosa. Guess what? The humans have made my story into a  BOOK!!

Sandra put the words down and Maryani did wonderful pictures of all of us – the flowers and the birds and the cat and the dog and the tallow tree and the red-bellied black snake and the storm monster and even the Great Glad Sun! We’re all there inside a beautiful hard padded cover with gold on it!

I JUST LOVE IT!!
